american blue jeans and diner coffee

You know what’s better than finding that perfect pair of jeans? Nothing. Ok, that might be a slight exaggeration, but you understand if you know how difficult it is to find well fitting denim. So now, imagine how stoked I was to finally squeeze into these hand-me-down Levi’s.

When my husband’s aunt gave me a stack of clothes to go through last Christmas, I hoarded these with the hope that they’d one day work – I could already see the potential. Flash forward some months later (and taking care of myself), not only can I sit/eat/breathe without unbuttoning, but it turns out they hug in all the right places (that glorious high waist!). And with the very slightest flared crop, they add a little edge to an American classic.

So, you can find me living in these from now until forever, always with a cup of coffee in hand. My friend gave me this Luke’s Diner sleeve from a Gilmore Girls pop-up event, and you bet I’m crazy enough to swap it out with all my coffee to-go cup sleeves – from now until forever. ❤

Outfit details: Madewell top, thrifted scarf, Lord & Taylor trench, hand-me-down Levi jeans, boots from Poshmark.

See how else I styled this trench, and read all my feelings about the Gilmore Girls revival.

  1. Oh, I fell in love with your coat.
It is very true, there is nothing like finding jeans that take advantage of our silhouette and are comfortable.
I will be attentive to your blog! Greetings and kisses ❤❤❤
