I go to Disneyland once a year, and there isn’t a more perfect time to visit than during the Christmas season. The parks are decorated beautifully, rides are updated to fit the Christmas theme, and they sell holiday food from around the world. This visit was especially great because of the light rain and chill in the air to set the perfect mood.
My favorite Disney companion is my niece because as I’ve written before, we take our visits very seriously. We’ve pretty much got our “ride route” down to a science with ample time to hit everything (and not stand in line), as well as have some down time to snack – because churros and Dole Whip are non-negotiables. The unanimous favorite ride was Haunted Mansion, as they change it to “Nightmare Before Christmas” for the holidays, and we rode it twice. We were also sure to get warm holiday beverages, Swedish meatballs, and a Gingerbread cookie to fulfill all of our Christmas desires. Sometimes I want to cry when I look at all the detail Disney puts into their rides and holiday decor, but as it’s the happiest place on Earth, I’m able to suppress the tears.
We’re also all about that park hopper pass, so we hit up California Adventure as well. So saddened to hear they’re changing Hollywood Tower of Terror because it’s our very favorite.
Photos were taken on my GoPro and phone.
Are you kidding me?! All so beautiful.
Wouldn’t be complete without Christmas carols.
Killing me with these perfect pops of pink.
Dirty kid fingernails + Christmas cookies. Fitting, I think.
Always Alice. ❤
My very favorite photo from our trip.
My only request is that we don’t spin ourselves any extra on the teacups. *Old lady with motion sickness say, “Here!”*
Finally got our first pair of ears. 🙂
So grateful to ring in the most magical season with my niece by my side. I wouldn’t want it any other way. ❤
