Have you ever ordered an appetizer twice in one meal? I have. The Baked Brie at Industriel in downtown Los Angeles is that good. Now, I’m a “will eat any and all cheese” type of person, but I have a soft spot (pun intended) for brie. Top it with pumpkin seeds, quinoa, and palm tree flower honey? PUTS IT OVER THE TOP. And if that wasn’t enough, their signature cocktails are on point – delicious, strong, and only EIGHT DOLLARS. I repeat, eight dollars. I like strawberry cocktails and get the La Malicieuse (and to be honest, its Harry Potter reference on the menu really makes the choice for me).
We came here a second time for our anniversary dinner, and the main dishes didn’t disappoint either. They’re smaller portions, as fancy restaurants tend to have, but really the perfect amount. I ordered the chicken, and my husband got the rockfish.
Pair all of that with its cozy and charming urban farm interior -tufted back sofas, distressed wood tables, and the red chairs (!!) – and it’s the perfect date spot.
