Bumble and Bumble Pret a Powder Shampoo: I’ve long been a skeptic about the magic of dry shampoo. I wash my hair every other day, and it’s always a toss up on the second day on whether or not my hair will be oily and/or flat. I just lived with it. But NO MORE! My friend turned me on to this stuff, and I’m obsessed. Besides helping rid your scalp of those pesky oils, it also adds volume (yay!). When I was in Europe, I even went three days without washing because I used this stuff, which I’d never risk that before, especially if I knew I’d be in a lot of photos. My hair is relatively light, so I don’t notice any problem with the powder blending in (which is super easy to do), but my friend is a brunette, so it must work for all hair colors. Plus, I really like how it smells.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz (Taupe): I have never in my life “filled in” my eyebrows. To me, that was the tackiest you could get when it came to applying makeup. Sometimes on set, makeup artists would color in my eyebrows, and I always thought the result was horrifying. But then I started seeing a bunch of girls on Insta rave about doing their eyebrows. Was I missing something? Well, in the spirit of me experimenting and trying to learn how to actually apply makeup, I thought I’d give it a shot. I was at the mall and walked into Sephora and asked one of the makeup consultants what a cheap, easy to apply eyebrow pencil would be. She pointed me in this direction, and guys, not only is it so easy/quick to apply, it truly makes a difference. They still look supremely natural, but now my face feels a little more finished, if that makes sense. And the taupe color blends seamlessly with my own eyebrow color (recommended for light to dark blonde hair). I don’t think I’ll be able to go without it now!
Yves Saint Laurent Paris Rose Perfume: I have been on the hunt for the perfect rose perfume ever since I purchased and relished in the heavenly scent of this Rosebud Multi-Use Oil (which I just sadly found is sold out, so NOW I MUST RATION!!). The oil smells AMAZING, but the scent doesn’t stay long enough, and you go through the bottle too fast. Thus began my search: I didn’t want to smell like an old lady or have anything too sharp/pungent – I like a bit of sweetness. I was hoping to buy perfume in Paris, because, it’s Paris, and I was ecstatic to come across this YSL perfume. A Parisian brand, bought in Paris, CALLED Paris, AND smells like roses? Perfect. I absolutely love the scent and just saw that this one is a limited addition – I MUST STOCK UP. Anyone know how long perfume lasts? Because I’m in love.
