Finally getting around to sharing some bits of Christmas around our parts. Like every year, we went Christmas tree hunting the weekend after Thanksgiving. We came home with a 6-7 foot tall one this year, and his name is Ferdinand. He has been a lovely addition to our household.
I put on Love, Actually, made some hot chocolate (with Bailey’s), and decorated the tree in all its festive cheer. We even made a time-lapse video of it since, you know, that’s the kind of thing you do with an adventurous GoPro.
My husband somehow agreed to “12 Dates of Christmas” this year (I won’t question it), but some sickness around these parts has put a damper in our plans. The weekend before last we did cram in some gingerbread/graham cracker house making, Elf watching at the Million Dollar Theatre, and a trip to Disney California Adventure. Trying to find some time to squeeze in the last of the seasonal festivities because unlike last year, I don’t have eight Christmas parties to go to, and this season has gone by so quickly I’m afraid I’m going to miss it.
CHRISTMAS DON’T LEAVE I LOVE YOU AND PROMISE TO BE GOOD TO YOU FOREVER.
