This year I have almost exclusively used my film camera to capture photos of our life together. Though that means I have less digital photos to share on a more regular basis, the photos mean so much more to me. I shared most of the photos from my last two rolls in my camping trip post, but here are a few other photos from the rolls as well.
I am so thankful for this medium to capture photos. With the digital age some people may think it’s unnecessary to revert back to rolls of film that only let you capture 24 images, with no do-overs. But for me, it has not only helped me find my way out of my digital photography rut, but it has infused a little magic into my life.
A rare occasion that my husband was home early enough for happy hour.
My husband studied for his Professional Engineer licensing exam for months. When the test day finally came, we (including Kip) got to spend a night at a hotel together. So good for the soul.
If you think I’m exaggerating when I say we have a picnic every Saturday, you are mistaken. I am so happy for this new tradition and look forward to it every weekend.
What was supposed to be in focus here? ;p
These little guys always give me fond memories of childhood necklace making.
