2013 was a heck of a year. Newly married, we drove across the country to make the move to Los Angeles. My husband began his first job post-grad, and I began my acting career in LA. We settled into our apartment, made several fun trips, and focused on our life together. I made tremendous leaps in my cooking abilities, prepared myself for parenthood through my array of nanny jobs, and spent a lot of time creating a happy life. I’m hoping for even bigger and better things to come in 2014. But here are some of my favorite posts from 2013:
Our Wedding Recap – You can find more posts about our wedding day under the “Wedding” category to the right.
Exploring LA – We had a month to explore LA before Whitney started work. These photos were apart of my (short-lived) 365 Project and our afternoon hike at Runyon Canyon.
Baby Photos – I shared my favorite photos from a baby’s Christmas shoot.
Kipling Buried at the Beach – Kipling was so nice to humor us.
My New Headshots – Hey…I’m an actor!
Disneyland – Our first trip together to the happiest place on Earth.
A Hike – Found a new spot near our place!
4th of July – So happy to have spent it with family.
My Summer Bucket List – I had such a great time checking things off this list!
A Friend’s Visit – And my birthday rolled up into one! We had a great time.
My Happy Garden – Plants just make me happy.
Lion Dog – I can’t get over the hilarity.
Halloween – Loved putting our handmade costumes together this year!
Film Photography – Finally learning to use a film camera!
Life Lately – A recap of my every day.
Fall Colors – On our walks.
Big Bear – A last minute trip to visit the little village.
My Sister’s Graduation – Got to make the trip back to Texas to see my sister graduate from UT!
Playing Tour Guide – Love having an excuse to explore the city with out of town guests.
Fall Manifesto – The final progress.
Christmas Kipling – Again, I can’t handle it.
It was difficult narrowing this list down, but I didn’t want to overwhelm you. Feel free to look through my archives because there are many, many more posts. I did a more inclusive recap of most of 2013 here (in celebration of our first anniversary).
