I love having friends visit because I get to see LA through their eyes. I try really hard to show them the “hot spots” and really make the experience a great one (uhh…so they’ll visit again!). Even though we have only been here a year, it’s easy to forget the neat things the city has to offer. I may take all of our visitors to the same places, but I love it each time.
Both of our friends brought their fancy schmancy cameras, so I didn’t bother to carry mine around. Some of these photos were taken by Justin, and some were taken by me. Our first day we grabbed breakfast at Urth Caffe and headed to Runyon Canyon. Afterwards we strolled Rodeo Drive (I’ve never been) and didn’t buy anything because hey, we’re not rich. That afternoon we also got to visit their friend at the Snap Chat headquarters, which was pretty neat. We grabbed Umami Burger for dinner (always delicious) and caught an improv show at UCB. Saturday was perfectly warm and sunny, so we grabbed brunch near the beach and walked around. We went to a Korean BBQ place for dinner (I got a vegetarian noodle dish), and everything was so good.
We had a great time with them, and I can’t wait to be back in Texas for the holidays and get even more friend time!
