I finally made it to another one of Whitney’s softball games last Saturday. I’ve had other commitments during the past several games, so I was happy to be able to make it out again. We brought Kipling with us this time, and as you may be able to tell from the photo above, she was one crazy, pain in the butt. Kipling has it in her mind that if there is a big open field, she’s meant to run around and play in it. But no sir, not at the softball game. So instead she just decided to whine the whole time. I love her to death, but she may or may not be coming with us next time. 😉
Anyway, Whitney finally got to play 2nd base (the position he played in high school), so he was pretty happy about that. It was fun watching him in his more natural “environment”. And he played great…even if he bloodied up his knee diving like a crazy person. 🙂 Blood will wash out of shorts, but you can’t redo a play. He’s committed, that one.
Photographic proof I was there!
The game was in the morning, which was really nice. Nothing like waking up on a Saturday to relax outside watching a ballgame. And the team has legit personalized jerseys now! Pretty cool.
