We just had the most wonderful trip to San Diego for our anniversary weekend. We hadn’t been since our move to Southern California, and it did not disappoint. We drove up Saturday morning (Pumpkin Spice Lattes in hand…our first time trying them…delicious), and after a quick visit with my brother, we went to check out the La Jolla Art and Wine Festival. We ate lunch at a cute little cafe, tasted different wines, saw some pretty amazing pieces of art, and watched circus performances. Afterwards we checked into our awesome hotel and then took a trip up to the Torrey Pines Gliderport to watch the sunset. We grabbed sushi for dinner, and being too stuffed to go get dessert afterwards, we went and relaxed at our hotel for the rest of the night.
San Diego is absolutely beautiful. Every part of the city we drove through…beautiful. And everything and everyone just seemed so relaxed. Can we move there already?
Whitney’s face after he saw that UT beat OU (thanks, Longhorns, for that anniversary present).
Too many cute dogs strolling through San Diego. I loved it.
The hotel treated us to some candy and wine for our anniversary. Though, did they think I was celebrating by myself? π
I sure did snag me a handsome one.
Sunsets never cease to amaze.
I’ll be back tomorrow with the rest of our trip!
