Fall is approaching. Soon I hope. I think yesterday was the first day in the past couple of weeks I wasn’t absolutely melting inside our apartment (we have no AC). I had the greatest summer ever, but I’m not sure anything can beat the holiday season. I started a bit early by baking some pumpkin bread this past weekend and am so excited for the rest of autumn’s recipes, crafts, and activities. I’m working on being more proactive, more helpful, and more grateful. I’m getting things done. Cleaning our home. Cooking dinners. Progressing my career. I’m being thankful for the wonderful people I have in my life and their generosity. For my husband and all he does for me and for us. I think when you try to cultivate a good life, you are rewarded. This past year has been too good to us, and I’m relishing every moment. I can’t believe our one year anniversary is quickly approaching. I can’t believe my birthday has already passed. So many great memories and so many more to come. Together.
Thinking about those who sacrificed so much on 9/11 twelve years ago.
