Of course I have to share our “formal” wedding portraits with you. Unfortunately, the rain came back shortly after we began, so we didn’t get as many family portraits as I would have liked. After running to find shelter and touch up after the rain, we resumed with photos of the wedding party and later with the bride and groom portraits. Our wedding party somehow gathered all of these umbrellas from miscellaneous guests to use as props (the white umbrella I’m holding is actually the photographers’ light reflecting umbrella ;p). Hopefully it’s not tooΒ noticeable that we were shook up a bit by the rain (rain and our hair was not a good combination).
Us with Whitney’s parents.
With both of our parents.
With our parents and grandparents.
With Whitney’s parents and grandparents.
With my mother, Eric, and my grandparents.
Me with my mother, siblings, and nieces.
Me with my older brothers, Jon and Ryan, and younger sister, Anna. This is when I started to feel the rain drops falling!
Me with my adorable niece, Blaec.
My nieces are the cutest.
Me with my niece (Junior Bridesmaid) Kennedy and sister (Maid of Honor) Anna.
Cousins, Andria and Anna.
We had two photographers for our wedding (Jerry and Jona Blackwell, husband and wife of Forever Photography Studio, as I’ve mentioned before). The left was taken by Jona, and the right by Jerry. It’s so interesting to see that though they work collaboratively, each has a different style of photos (both beautiful!).
Barbara and Jessie.
For whatever reason, we always have photos of Michael standing off by himself. So naturally, we had to get one at our wedding.
From left to right: Alex (best man), Michael, and Frank. Whitney has known Alex since 7th grade and Michael since high school (together they formed “The Tripod”). Frank was his roommate for three years in college (and mine as well for a year).
Our improvised attempt at “Bridesmaids” (we know those aren’t the right poses). ;p
Next up, “The Reception” (finally)!
