Probably my favorite thing (or type of people) to photograph is children. They look cute no matter what, and if you are lucky enough to find a child who loves the camera, they have a bunch of fun posing and being silly for the camera. Plus, you change at the quickest rate during childhood, so I love being able to capture these fleeting moments. Needless to say, there will be no shortage of photographs of my children (when I have them). Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) for them, there will always be a camera present and in their faces. :p
I had my final days with my nanny family last week, and it was sad to say goodbye. I see the boy I nanny every week day, so it felt like he was apart of my family. Since I take photos (obviously), I wanted to do something special for his parents. So on one of my last days, we went out into his backyard to snap some photos of him and his dog to give his parents as their Christmas gift. Amongst picture taking we had hot cocoa, swung on his swings, and played catch with a baseball. 🙂 These are the ones I was able to capture (for the short amount of time I was able to get them to sit still!).
P.S. His mother gave me permission to post these photos as promotion for my photography. 🙂
I can’t wait to convince my niece to do a photo shoot with me over the Christmas holiday. 😉
