Amongst packing, meeting up with friends for the final time before moving, seeing two musicals last week, preparing for Christmas, entertaining out of town guests this past weekend, and working my final days at my two jobs, I have had no time to keep up with my daily posts. This week I have even less time, as I am driving to San Antonio and back every day to film 8am-6pm before we head home for the holidays Saturday morning. But, I don’t want to get too behind, and in my little time before bedtime, I thought I would try to catch up a bit.
A couple of weekends ago, we wanted to make a trip to Zilker’s Trail of Lights (it has come back after a two year hiatus), but apparently we jumped the gun a little too early, and it wasn’t quite open yet. We had made the drive all the way down to Barton Springs before we knew that, so we stopped to see the Zilker Holiday Tree at least, followed by s’more making at Halcyon downtown and watching my friend’s 70s cover band, The Boogies, perform. The s’mores were delicious, and Nathalie rocked as the lead singer of her band (she raps and covers a bunch of modern pop songs as well). I don’t know if we’ll have a chance to go see the Trail of Lights now that it’s open, but we’ll see if we have a spare moment to squeeze it in!
And here are my Instagram pictures of the night (since I didn’t do a weekly round up last Wednesday). Yeah, I carried all my cameras with me that night (including the instax) in my new Kelly Moore bag!:
Now back to my crazy schedule!
