south congress avenue

As our weeks in Austin draw to a close, our appreciation for the city and Texas has grown. I’m so glad that my cousin was able to visit (for our wedding) not only so she could finally enjoy this great city, but also because it would force us to go out and enjoy Austin. We’ve made trips to South Congress before, but it’s always great to be reminded why we love living here. South Congress is home to the famous food trailer park, a ton of vintage and small business shops, booths set up by local artists, pens of puppies for adoption, and other amazing restaurants. If you visit Austin, SoCo is a must see.
