I don’t know about you, but I couldn’t be more excited for the Thanksgiving meal today. We are spending it with my husband’s family, and I am contributing dinner rolls (I’ll share more in another post). But today I’ll leave you with some fun turkey hats I crafted with the boy I nanny.
Like on Halloween, I knew I wanted to do something with him to celebrate the holiday, so I scoured my house for supplies and found this simple craft from Parents magazine. I know he appreciated it, and he had fun modeling his hat with silly poses. You probably have all these supplies around your house, and if not, you can easily substitute (i.e. markers for paint).
I hope you all have the chance to spend today with friends and family. Treasure the day and all you have for which to be thankful. I know I tend to take many things for granted, so I’m going to try to actively appreciate what and who I have in my life.
Now stuff your face! ;P
