Hedgehogs and Snow Cones

I’ve been making a ton of trips to Zilker lately. It’s one of the locations for boot camp, and I have been trying to take Kip down there as often as I can. If I’m not heading to Zilker, I’m still heading up and down Lamar almost every day it seems. But I’m trying not to let the idea of long car trips deter me from going out and enjoying Austin! This past Sunday a group of friends headed there for some afternoon fun. Molly brought her pet hedgehog, Nehemiah. I’m just glad Kipling didn’t try to eat him. Kipling had a lot of fun running around (and dunking her head and feet into a pile of mud) and burning off all of her excess energy. We stopped by Sno-Beach afterwards for some sweet, refreshing snow cones. Let me tell you, the scoop of ice cream in the bottom of the snow cone was well worth it!

This was my new snow cone after Kipling made my first one spill everywhere. She still has a red snow cone stain on her forehead.
