I’ve never been much of a coffee drinker. When I say coffee, I mean straight coffee. Of course, who doesn’t love the blissfully sweet concoction of a Starbucks Frappucinno? Anyway, post college life and current working life, I found myself needing the extra pick me up in the morning (because I can no longer go to class for an hour and then come back to my dorm for a nap). The problem I have with coffee is it is too bitter for my taste. On the other hand, I don’t want to add so much sugar and creamer that the benefits of the caffeine are outweighed by the unhealthy effects. Thus, now begins my venture into the world of coffee. Whitney and I registered for a Keurig for our wedding (because, am I really going to brew a whole pot of coffee?), and to our delight, we received one at my bridal shower (thanks to my mother)! Now, I’m starting off slow. I can handle chocolate mixed with coffee (see: CafΓ© Mocha). Maybe at some point I will venture into “real” coffee, but we will see where this takes us. The Keurig was so easy to set up and is so easy to use! It’s quick, and there is no mess to clean up (not to mention, it looks pretty sleek and fancy, if I do say so myself)! I think this is the beginning of a great relationship. π (*Note: I am not a paid endorser. I can only dream! Hah!)
Excuse my monster claw of a hand, but I do love my set of four Alice in Wonderland mugs my grandmother sent me a few years back (when I actually got to play Alice in a theatre production)!
For old times’ sake. π
