cake balls

This past week my sister and I attended a baking class on cake balls at Make It Sweet (originally All in One Bake Shop). We purchased the Groupon almost a year ago, and it was about to expire, so we had to sign up for a class quickly! I originally wanted to take a decorating class, but this turned out just as fun and helpful. If you don’t know how cake balls are made, here’s the gist of it: you bake a cake, let it cool before you crumble it up and mush together with frosting, let the mix set in the fridge, then scoop out cake balls to dip in chocolate coating and decorate. The cake balls were delicious and came out so pretty and professional looking, but don’t take my word for it…see for yourself! (Excuse the point and shoot photos…I didn’t lug my DSLR with me).

Here is a pretty one I took when I got home. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. The baking class was a ton of fun! It’s a little pricey to do it on the regular, but if you can snag a coupon like I did, it’s something fun and interesting to try if you never have! ๐Ÿ™‚
